Service Care Solutions are looking for a highly experienced Senior HR Manager to join the London Borough of Greenwich's schools HR team.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic leadership in the management of an effective and highly professional team within HR Advisory Services to deliver customer-focussed HR services, to support delivery of directorate and school and wider Council aims and objectives.

Provide senior leadership and high-level operational HR intervention and advice to departments in matters relating to strategic/operational Employee Relations.
Our client, a British independent record label, is seeking a HR Manager to work with senior leadership in a business partnering.
Key responsibilities will include: Collaborating extensively with the HR Lead and senior leadership to deliver effective HR support to staff in the UK and smaller groups in the EU and US (staff population surpasses sixty people).
The position is being offered as a six-month part-time contract, which is three days a week with some scope to work remotely.
I would love to hear from any experienced HR Advisors/ Managers who are available from June 2024 to undertake an HR generalist position on a 6 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Manager will work closely with the casework team and have a hands on approach to managing TUPE, disciplinary, grievance and absence casework.
This is an ideal development role, providing experience in a large HR team and the opportunity to support a variety of stakeholders across the organisation.
A) The post holder will provide strategic leadership in the management of an effective and highly professional team (either Corporate & Investigations or Social Care & Schools) within HR Advisory Services to deliver customer-focussed HR services, to support delivery of directorate and school and wider Council aims and objectives.
B) Contribute at a strategic and operational level, working with council departments and schools to identify HR priorities and people management solutions that support business aims and wider organisational values; and help to develop, and implement, the Council's Workforce Strategy, ensuring the Council 'gets the best' from its people.
C) To provide senior leadership and high-level operational HR intervention and advice to departments in matters relating to strategic/operational Employee Relations (including, engagement, performance management, workplace disputes, conflict resolution, managing attendance, and disciplinary matters), employment contracts, representative groups and consultative processes, organisational change, and HR policy and practice.
Must have HR experience and have worked as part of a busy HR team.
The job holder will be required to provide a professional and efficient HR administration service and a high-quality telephone and email advice service, together with transactional support service, ensuring consistency of practice and compliance with corporate people, management policies, processes and standards.
Hybrid role - office three days a week Monday/Tuesday/Thursday Maidenhead- WFH 2 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have good experience with Collective Consultations.
Execution of Business Change Projects
Primarily responsible for leading all aspects of UK collective consultation process including training of line managers, running elections and administering meetings and documentation.
