My client, a leading public sector organisation, are seeking a dedicated Homeless Officer to join their team, providing homeless prevention, assessment, and decision-making services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Homeless Officer
Hourly Rate: £15.43 PAYE or £19.03 via Umbrella.
Job Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri- will consider part time hours.
The team provides homeless prevention, assessment, and decision-making services to those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The role involves undertaking casework to identify and address an applicant's housing related problems and to provide reports to enable decisions to be made on what duty the client owes to each household.
We are looking for someone with highly effective interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and have personal resilience when dealing with challenging situations.
