Hours: 37.5 Salary: £29,679 to £31,785 Annum (Salary based on a 37.5-hour contract and higher rate is offered to applicants with relevant level 5 qualifications) Overview of the role Reporting to the Assistant Regional Director, the Home Manager's role is to be responsible for the overall management and daily running of the home, in accordance with CQC standards and Company policies and procedures, with the end purpose of creating a safe, positive and happy environment for all residents. There is an opportunity to study a Level 5 in Care Leadership & Management - General Adult Social Care Diploma to become a qualified Registered Manager. The position requires extensive knowledge, including supervisory experience from working in Adult Social Care. You will need to have a professional approach with the ability to organise and prioritise, and a good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation. Gift Aid Administration: Coordinate Gift Aid administration, submitting half-yearly applications to HMRC for Gift Aid. Insurance and Asset Management: Collaborate with the Clerk of Accounts to ensure appropriate insurance arrangements and records are maintained. Maintain and update fixed asset registers, arranging updates on investment asset valuations. Process Improvement: Review accounts payable processes, recommend improvements, and implement agreed-upon solutions. About You The ideal candidate for this role will be a Newly Qualified Accountant or a Strong Finalist with experience in producing Management Accounts, coupled with proficiency in SageLine 50. Desirable qualifications and experience would include a background in producing or auditing statutory charity accounts, with a solid understanding of Charity SORP (FRS 102).
