The role:
- The successful Product Manager will be responsible for leading the ambitious product growth plans for a leading global brand. Ensuring there is an appropriate mix of NPD, exclusives and novelty products that appeal to the consumer.
- Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Product Manager will develop strategies that deliver sales, margin and market share across the UK.
- Manging a high profile licensing arrangement the Product Manager will set recommended retail prices and work with the account management team to develop distribution plans across retail and ecommerce.
- The Product Manager will own all shopper activation across both above and below the line.
- In the role the Product Manager will use data and insights to identify opportunities and threats and take the appropriate action
Ideal candidate:
- You will currently be working within as a product marketing manager for a global consumer brand within general merchandise this could be home, lifestyle, toys etc but experience must be gained from the UK retail sector. Licensing experience is an advantage
- As Product Manager you will have commercial and creative marketing experience and will have set pricing, margin etc
- You will have fantastic analytical skills and be able to draw conclusions from data and take action.
- The Product Manager will work across traditional retail and ecommerce so must have experience of both channels
- You will be an excellent communicator and be able to build excellent relationships with multiple stakeholders
- As Product Manager you will be a highly organised, self starter and be able to manage end to end processes with a focus on ensuring business targets are met
- You will thrive in a highly personable fast paced entrepreneurial, people orientated environment
