Key Responsibilities As Head of Fixed Assets you be responsible for the following: Take charge of the management and oversight of fixed assets across our organisation. Offer expert counsel on fixed asset accounting practices and policies. Foster close collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless financial reporting. Requirements As Head of Fixed Assets you will will have the following experience: Proven track record in fixed asset management within a multifaceted financial setting. Thorough understanding of IFRS and US GAAP guidelines and their practical application. Exceptional analytical acumen, adept at interpreting and applying accounting principles. Outstanding communication skills coupled with strong leadership qualities. Qualified ACA, ICAS, ACCA with a degree in accountancy, business, econonics or relevant field. What's On Offer? RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Midlands based Housing client to recruit a Head of Asset Management on a permanent basis. This role can be either based at their Midlands office or their offices in London with travel to either office twice per week. Main duties include: Leading and managing the Asset Management team. Developing the Asset Management Strategy, Net Zero Carbon Strategy ensuring full regulatory compliance with Decent Homes and Net Zero Carbon targets Effective management of the Asset Management database to programme works, forecast expenditure, produce reports, analyse data and run scenario plans to maximise financial performance Effectively lead on strategic asset planning and successful procurement and delivery of the organisation's stock investment programmes, day to day repairs, cyclical maintenance, voids service and new build developments Ensure robust contract management focusing on performance, quality and value for money Consultation with stakeholders to deliver services to meet customers needs and ensure compliance and maximises income Budget setting and management of all services demonstrating commercial acumen and cost control to ensure that the organisation delivers a quality cost effective service Ensure 'Damp and Mould' is managed and monitored robustly, working with housing colleagues to help support residents in their properties. Identifying issues with property architypes and developing preventative programmes of work. Ensure effective complaints management, investigating and responding to all complaints in a customer friendly, timely manner. Demonstrating service improvements from lessons learnt Ensure clear contractual frameworks are in place and are operating effectively to deliver first class customer service and value for money. Oversee the development and training of Asset Management Team. Prepare reports for Group Board, Executive and Operational Leadership teams. As the ideal candidate, you will have a successful track record in delivering a wide range of responsive, void and investment projects on time, to the desired quality and within budget. You will possess extensive knowledge and experience of tendering, contact administration and construction partnering whilst having a solid track record in leading service improvement and delivery at a senior level within an Asset Management setting. Housing experience is preferred however, not essential. You will be a proven leader who can motivate the team and build strong relationships across the board and is able to hit the ground running. Head Of Trust London £90,000-£100,000 Full-Time Permanent Hybrid Exciting opportunity to join an award-winning company. You will be responsible for the client's portfolio ensuring For Profit Registered Provider (FPRP) compliance. Reporting to the Board on performance, regulatory compliance and policy changes to ensure the inhouse management services delivers excellent services to the client's customers and maximising income and providing value for money services. You will also be responsible for reporting to Homes England/GLA/Local Authority partners requirements and maintaining the clients risk register. Key Responsibilities as Head Of Trust: Ensure the Trust is meeting requirements set by the Regulator for Social Housing. Undertake full asset management of the Trust portfolio driving the performance and added value with detailed reporting as required by the Plc and the trust Boards. Supporting the trust Board, though the production of papers, following up actions and regular updates. Ensure Trust Board is advised of portfolio developments through regular reporting Responsible for improving the gross to net position, driving value for our customers, partners and shareholders. Provide management and leadership to the in-house Management team to deliver the business objectives Ensure systems and procedures fully achieve all industry standards and comply with all relevant legislation. Control works budget for block expenditure including planned maintenance, ensuring major works are completed within the set timeframes. Managing and updating budgets, procedures, and schedules. Review portfolio to propose suitable investment sales. Maintain and deliver regular reports as required. Work with other members of the management team and other departments to ensure an effective management process.
