If you're an experienced Housekeeper with infection control knowledge and high standards, where only the cleanest will do, then join a brand new team as a Housekeeper at The Lakefields Neurological Centre (Application submitted subject to CQC registration) in Chigwell. This brand-new service is opening 2024, where you'll work as part of the housekeeping team to support a comprehensive housekeeping service, plus other specified tasks, to meet individual patient and service needs. You'll work across all areas of the centre, including clinical and non-clinical, making sure high standards of clinical cleanliness at all times to ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment. This includes regular deep cleaning across all areas. Your responsibilities will include: Making sure all housekeeping duties documentation is completed correctly Provide and maintain good levels of cleanliness Be aware of and adhere to HCAI Code of Practice and IPC principles Take reasonable care of your health and safety and people around you while you're working Follow Health and Safety, Fire and COSHH regulations Ensure all cleaning products are appropriately stored Ensure adequate supplies and linen are available, liaising with colleagues and Contractors To be successful as a Housekeeper, you will need: To provide good customer care Working knowledge of good cleaning practices and infection control regulations. Experience in cleaning/housekeeping. To work on your own and as part of a team Flexibility and adapt to change to meet the needs of the service. Basic literary and IT skills. Where you will be working: The Lakefields Neurological Centre (Application submitted subject to CQC registration) is a brand-new 22-bed service that delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise their functional ability and improve their quality of life. The Centre specialises in neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy and ventilator care. Bedrooms are adapted to individual requirements, fitted with high dependency equipment including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities, spacious lounge areas and wheelchair access to beautiful gardens.
