Looking after one of the most important parts of the business's divisions The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of management accountants but this role will also be very much in the doing. Client Details Our client is a leading business within the leisure industry. With a global presence, they also operate numerous facilities across the UK with ambitious growth plans for 2024 and beyond. Description Managing a team of 3 Conducting and reviewing full month end process for this division Managing budgeting and forecasting processes Key part in year-end audit Presentation of forecast, performance and variance analysis Periodical VAT and liaising with internal and external tax Collaborating with senior leadership on business decisions Taking an active role in process improvement and systems improvement when required Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified Someone who is happy to be in leadership, reviewing others work as well as being hands on in the day to day Proficiency in financial software and MS Office and specifically Excel leadership abilities and communication skills and ability to coach and mentor Willing to challenge the normal way of doing things to benefit the team and business Job Offer An estimated salary range of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum Excellent bonus scheme Hybrid working model Gym membership healthcare package and dentist cover
We are recruiting an ACA qualified finance manager to join a leading brand management company which works with some of the leading international names in sports. With a turnover of £80m this is a highly visible role which reports to the financial controller. Whilst the focus is on technical reporting our client can provide commercial experience so this will be a rounded role and an excellent first step from practice into industry. The finance manager will oversee the preparation of financial statements adhering to IFRS standards, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements. You will have autonomy to run the month-end close process, ensuring delivery of both internal and external reporting. Other duties will include; Maintaining the General Ledger including journal entries and account reconciliations Managing VAT compliance Managing the audit process Cashflow reporting and forecasting This is an excellent first move from practice into industry opportunity.
