Acorn by Synergie is searching for an Environmental Specialist with working knowledge of key environmental legislation within the oil, gas, chemicals or petrochemicals industry to join their client based in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
Reporting directly to the Process Safety Manager, the purpose of the role is ensure current awareness with relevant environmental issues is maintained through liaison with the relevant organisations.
Duties will include
Responsibility for ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, surveillance audits and recertification audits.
You will lead and facilitate the implementation of our environmental policies, Environmental Management System, and sustainability action plan including stakeholder engagement activity across multiple suppliers.
