Milk Education are partnering with an Independant Boy's school in Lambeth who are seeking an experienced Estates Manager to join our team and lead the planning, management, and implementation of maintenance and refurbishment programs across our school.
You will ensure our school, which spans two core sites and includes playing fields, boarding facilities, and domestic properties, remains safe, secure, and well-maintained for all staff, pupils, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Estates team (16 staff), ensuring the school sites are safe, clean, and compliant with legislation.
This role will oversee the oversee the strategy, delivery and growth of the Climate Action programme, managing the team to ensure quality content and effective engagement that will deliver impact and real benefit to the small businesses they work with.
Work with the development team to generate income for the organisation, strategically identifying future funding streams and developing pitch proposals for future programme development.

Work with and direct cross functional project teams, facilities managers, staff and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council's property portfolio and provide post project performance reviews.
To support and manage the delivery of projects in support of the Council's short, medium and long-term accommodation plans, including the rationalisation and modernisation of the 199 operational building portfolio.
To aid the development of future accommodation plans and workplace configuration in line with the council new ways of working methodologies.
Experience required: Property management experience in Facilities Management and Health and Safety within a Residential Property Managment Company essential.
