The overall purpose of the role is to: Responsible for Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) environmental impact, resources, and plans.
We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability (ES) Manager to lead an Estates and Facilities Management (EFM) team within the Public Sector.
The Environmental Sustainability Manager will be responsible for assessing and improving our environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving sustainable practices throughout the organisation.
Day to Day of the role
Develop and execute strategies to improve sustainability and address environmental concerns.
The ideal candidate will ensure an efficient and cost-effective maintenance response service, manage repair-line services, and support the Estates technical professional staff.
We are seeking an Facilities Coordinator to manage the service and repair portal and provide administrative support to the Estates and Facilities Management Department.
Day-to-day of the role
Interpret maintenance requests and allocate contractors within agreed technical and financial parameters.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYPW) or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience working in the UK.
This role is based in Preston and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children in residential care.

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
