We are seeking an experienced Technical Officer with particular experience in progressing level access showers via the Disabled Facilities Grant, though there will also be some ramps and internal alterations.
The applicant will work from home, with one office day per week and must be able to work well unsupervised with the ability to manage their own workload, prioritise works accordingly and ensure the timely completion of works.
The work will involve carrying out site surveys, providing some scale drawings (though most works are designed by the contractor), producing schedules of works and awarding works via our schedule of rates, liaising with service users, Occupational Therapists and contractors.
