Our client is a reputable construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team.
Role Summary: The Document Controller will play a crucial role in managing all aspects related to document control within our construction projects. You'll be responsible for coordinating technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input document data into standard registers, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Distribute controlled copies of approved documents and drawings to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Maintain documents and drawings securely in the document control office.
- Issue and receive controlled documentation, log transactions, and create electronic transmittals.
- Assist with quality checks and audits of document databases.
- Handle routine administrative tasks related to document management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Document Control.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and electronic document management systems.
- Strong record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Salary and Hours:
- Hourly rate: £16.39 per hour (PAYE) - depending on experience
- Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
- Annual salary equivalent: £23 - 28k
