Our client, a forward-thinking not-for-profit organisation, is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team.
The Employee Relations Advisor will use their ER expertise to support people managers with all aspects of employee relations and will be responsible for dealing with and investigating a range of complex ER cases.
Responsibilities for the Employee Relations Advisor
Provide advice and case management across the organisation for disciplinary, grievance, and formal capability/performance, long-term absence and AWOL issues, working in accordance with employment law, best practice and people policies and procedures.
Providing proactive, professional HR advice and guidance.
Building effective working relationships with your stakeholders across the business, including Trade Union representatives, you will provide timely advice and guidance on a wide range of HR practices.
General
The HR Advisor will work with our people managers to address issues across the business, spotting trends and sharing knowledge on individual ER cases to ensure best practice is developed and used.
HR Business Partners fulfill a client-facing role, involving playing an integral part in the employee relations area of an organisation, working at a strategic and an operational level, and driving business initiatives.
Take the lead to deal with critical issues and problems as they arise for client projects and retained solutions that include: Absence management, Disciplinary & Grievances, Settlements & Exits, Dispute resolution, Mediation, Mergers & Acquisitions, Crisis Management, Employment Law, HR advice, Health & Safety, Strategy & Planning, Management, and Employee relations.
