Our client is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to provide generalist HR support across the business. The primary focus of this role is to lead employee relations cases and concerns. You will engage in all aspects of day-to-day HR and project work, ensuring legal compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Relations:
- Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance meetings
- Produce accurate meeting minutes
- Advise and support line managers on employee issues and queries
- Support performance management meetings and create performance management plans
- Stay updated with current legislation
Time and Attendance:
- Investigate AWOL cases
- Manage long-term sickness and occupational health cases
- Conduct home visits when necessary
Training:
- Deliver HR-related management training
- Create training materials
Compliance and Documentation:
- Advise managers on company policies and ensure adherence
Health and Safety:
- Assist with accident and claim investigations
- Coordinate payment for work accident absences
About the ideal candidate:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a HR generalist role
- Experience in ER and supporting and advising management
- Strong influential skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient IT skills
- Organised with a planned approach to administration
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable
- Engaging with people at all levels
- Confident, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and team working ability
Salary Range & Benefits:
The salary for this HR Advisor role is negotiable depending on experience. In addition, the company offers an attractive benefits package including 25 days holiday plus banks.
