Our client, a forward-thinking not-for-profit organisation, is currently recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team.
The Employee Relations Advisor will use their ER expertise to support people managers with all aspects of employee relations and will be responsible for dealing with and investigating a range of complex ER cases.
Responsibilities for the Employee Relations Advisor
Provide advice and case management across the organisation for disciplinary, grievance, and formal capability/performance, long-term absence and AWOL issues, working in accordance with employment law, best practice and people policies and procedures.
Element Recruitment are working with a leading professional services business based in Bristol who are looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, the main focus of this role is to manage ER cases in line with legislation and company policy as well as coaching, guiding and training managers on ER related topics.
In this role, you will also be responsible for proposing ideas and solutions to aid continual improvement and getting involved in the wider people vision projects.
Providing proactive, professional HR advice and guidance.
Building effective working relationships with your stakeholders across the business, including Trade Union representatives, you will provide timely advice and guidance on a wide range of HR practices.
General
The HR Advisor will work with our people managers to address issues across the business, spotting trends and sharing knowledge on individual ER cases to ensure best practice is developed and used.
