We are excited to be hiring a new Education Officer to join our fantastic Education Team.
The team works all across Surrey, with this role having a particular focus on the boroughs of either Runnymede, or Mole Valley and Epsom & Ewell, to deliver engaging educational sessions to thousands of children and young people each year.
This role has a starting salary of £32,512 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
The Education Welfare Officer will be responsible for ensuring that pupils receive maximum benefit from the education provision made available to them.
About the Role
They will do this by assisting in their regular attendance at school.
The Virtual School Education Officer will ensure that the children have the support in place to overcome barriers to their learning so that they achieve their full potential.
Virtual School Education Officer needed to manage a caseload of around 35 Looked After Children cared for by The London Borough of Hillingdon.

Supporting individual pupils and their parents
Enabling effective communication between parents, carers, guardians and school - Monitoring school and pupil attendance data to provide support and focus efforts to unblock wider barriers to attendance
