As the Software Development Team Leader, you will guide a team of talented software developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. You will drive projects from conception to completion, ensuring the company delivers top-tier products and software. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Salary : £30 000- £50 000 Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the Software Team, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output. Lead the development of scalable firmware and software using a structured, process-driven approach. Plan the Software Team's workload and regularly update the Project Lead, Programme Manager, and Stakeholders on milestone progress. Uphold best practices within the Software Team, ensuring adherence to technical journals, essential research, and company QMS processes. Lead and administer the Sprint process for the Software Team. Support the delivery of product firmware and software from initial design briefs through to full production, including testing and verification. Assist with project planning, scoping, and problem-solving. Required Knowledge and Experience: Degree in a technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial software environment. Experience with audio software, JUCE-based applications, or embedded firmware is a plus. Strong understanding of software engineering principles. Proficiency in Agile Scrum/Sprint planning methodologies. Proven People Management skills with experience as a formal Line Manager. Demonstrated experience with project ownership and coordination from conception to completion. Methodical and structured approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Enthusiastic, committed, and dependable. A background in guitar playing, music, or a strong passion for music is an advantage, though not essential.
