A Children's Deputy Manager is required for the Care Leavers Team in Liverpool.
Team: UASC Service
Following growth in their Care Leavers and UASC Service, we require an experienced Deputy Team Manager with a robust understanding of young people's whole journey through the care system.
To deputise for the Team Manager as and when necessary and to assist in the execution of all managerial functions relating to the smooth running of the social care teams in Targeted Support.
To assist Team Managers in supervising and supporting Social Care staff, to provide a range of family support services for children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings and where directed by the court those subject to private care proceedings.
To oversee and quality assure complex Parenting Assessments requested by social care teams.
The Deputy Team Manager will support the team with pathway planning for young people to ensure that they have equal opportunities to study, to work and to live in high quality accommodation which meets their needs; you will also provide the Personal Advisors in the service with regular supervision alongside the Team Manager.
Our client, Liverpool City Council, is looking for a Deputy Team Manager to join their Care Leavers and UASC Service.
You will need to have the ability to develop strong relationships with key partners such as Housing and Health and be able to advocate for our young people so to secure the access to services that they need.
You will be joining a dedicated team to support the Registered Manager and existing team, to ensure that all of the young people are receiving the best quality of care.
