Credit Controller Job Description
Monitor all promises of payment to ensure receipt and follow-up promptly with further contact as necessary.
Contact customers whose payment is in default of agreed payment terms to obtain immediate payment of the full value, a committed payment date or valid reason for non-payment.
To manage an efficient credit control service through creating and upholding robust payment procedures and effective communication.
General
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced credit controller to join our small finance team, working at our Group headquarters in North Yorkshire.
The main function of the role will be Credit Control, however there will be additional duties as required by the business that may include assisting team members in their absense or managing and maintaining the company financial records.
We are working closely with a Northallerton based business who are looking to employ a full time Credit Controller into their team.
You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be working along side a team of 5 in the office.
You will take ownership of financial control, international accounting & reporting, statutory accounts preparation, audit support and cashflow forecasting.
Reporting to the Finance Director of an acquisitive PE backed business, this role will offer the appointed financial controller a broad base of exposure and a perfect base to move into a future Financial Director role.
Our client is open to a first move from practice or progression from industry and there is hybrid working on offer.
