Business Development Manager (Remote with travel) This position has the unique ability to be what you shape it to be. Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the senior management to develop your own strategy to target and onboard new business across the UK and international markets within the retail and grocery sectors Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, negotiat contracts and close deals. Research the market, and work with the NPD team to identify trends and opportunities for the company to expand their product portfolio to ensure you are offering grocers/retailers products that are on-trend and sustainable. Understand retailer needs and pain points to develop tailored products plans to win and secure new business, providing exceptional service to develop the partnership long term. Track and report on your sales performance, giving regular updates to senior management - you will have full P&L ownership and accountability. Be resourceful and employ innovative solutions to deliver value, gross margin, and volume targets for your customers. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products. Minimum Requirements for the Business Development Manager: At least 5 years proven experience in a sales or new business development role FMCG product experience is essential Demonstrated success in achieving targets Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed. Willingness to travel both internationally and nationally as required.
