In this busy and interesting job in a small and proactive team at our modern head office in South Oxfordshire, you will use your hazardous waste and chemistry knowledge to provide customer service and sales support to new and existing customers.
Day to day you will carry out technical assessment of waste enquiries, managing and gathering information in a manner that fully satisfies the requirements of pre-acceptance, and characterising and applying accurate classification.
Do you have a chemistry-related qualification and a background working as a Hazardous Waste Assessor or similar, with a good understanding of the hazardous waste industry?
Or perhaps you're a Landfill Manager looking to move sideways.
Landfill gas management is your area of expertise and interest - maybe you're an ambitious monitoring technician or working for a consultancy or waste company doing management or monitoring.
If deskbound is a dirty word for you and you're practical and enjoy teamwork, here's a no-day-is-the-same job that could see you dealing with an oil spillage and de-greasing a food factory one week, to decontaminating a laboratory the next.
Using a variety of tools, you will undertake confined-space entry, high-pressure water jetting, working at height, and handling and/or removal of hazardous materials.
As Industrial Services Operative, you will be part of a small and skilled team that provides specialised environmental and industrial cleaning, decontamination and decommissioning services to customers nationwide, but mainly in the southeast.
