As part of their dedicated back-office processing team, you will play a vital role in clearing a backlog of billing work. As a Revenue Officer, your responsibilities will include: Utilising the Academy and Enterprise systems to process billing work efficiently. Demonstrating a high level of accuracy in calculating council tax bills, ensuring perfection in every detail. Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills when corresponding with customers. Prioritising work and following instructions independently to meet deadlines. Clearing the backlog of billing work by handling moves, reliefs, refunds, and setting up direct debits. To excel in this role, you'll need the following skills and qualifications: Proficiency in Academy and Enterprise systems to streamline the back-office processes. A solid understanding of Council Tax Legislation, ensuring compliance with regulations. Experience in processing billing work accurately and efficiently, meeting high-quality standards. Outstanding numeracy skills to ensure precise calculations for council tax bills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective customer correspondence. The ability to work independently, following instructions meticulously. This is a temporary position with a contract length of 3 months with the view of extension, starting on as soon as possible. The hourly rate for this role ranges from £21.02 to £27.67 (PAYE/ Umbrella) A Basic DBS will be required for this post.
