Duties Prepare, organise, and maintain documents and reports related to sales, procurement, and market analysis. Maintaining spreadsheets and assist in preparation of presentations for internal and external meetings. Handle correspondence and communications on behalf of the Commercial Director, ensuring timely and effective responses. Provide administrative assistance in the procurement processes, including document preparation and supplier Support the Commercial Director by managing customer-related paperwork, sales reports, and CRM database updates. Assist with the coordination of marketing materials and sales Help gather and organise market research and intelligence to support strategic Experience & Skills Competent user of MS Office - Highly proficient with Excel Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to build effective working partnerships Ability and experience creating reports and presentations using Word, Excel and Power Point Some experience working within Purchasing is desirable Excellent problem solving ability Able to analyse data Good negotiation skills Detail orientated

About the Role: As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project commercial team and wider project delivery team. Your main responsibility will be to provide day-to-day administration assistance as required by the project. From managing subcontract payments and contracts to collating labour, plant, and material information, your contribution will ensure accurate financial management and help drive the success of the project. ?? Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing subcontract payments, contracts, applications for payment, and timesheets. Collate daily/weekly labour, plant, and material information for substantiation purposes. Prepare month-end data for turnover and cost analysis. Maintain the Project Commercial Filing System in accordance with the Commercial Manual. Assist in the production of Project Reviews. Process subcontract final account certificates. Input hours into the tracker from timesheets, rosters, and sign-in sheets. Handle applications for payment and certificates on COINS system. Compile raw data for auditors and provide backup for applications. Prepare journals and KPI hours reports for the Commercial Team. Raise Alliance ATRs on the Asite platform. Address cost, invoice, or allocation queries. Provide additional administration support when needed. ?? Requirements: GCSEs in core subjects including Maths at grade C or equivalent. Experience with large databases and collating significant amounts of data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience supporting a commercial/finance team is advantageous but not essential. ?
