Are you looking to be part of a transformative project in the rail industry? Our client, based in Tonbridge, is seeking two dedicated and dynamic Commercial Assistants to join their team as part of an exciting new project.
?? About the Role:
As a Commercial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project commercial team and wider project delivery team. Your main responsibility will be to provide day-to-day administration assistance as required by the project. From managing subcontract payments and contracts to collating labour, plant, and material information, your contribution will ensure accurate financial management and help drive the success of the project.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing subcontract payments, contracts, applications for payment, and timesheets.
- Collate daily/weekly labour, plant, and material information for substantiation purposes.
- Prepare month-end data for turnover and cost analysis.
- Maintain the Project Commercial Filing System in accordance with the Commercial Manual.
- Assist in the production of Project Reviews.
- Process subcontract final account certificates.
- Input hours into the tracker from timesheets, rosters, and sign-in sheets.
- Handle applications for payment and certificates on COINS system.
- Compile raw data for auditors and provide backup for applications.
- Prepare journals and KPI hours reports for the Commercial Team.
- Raise Alliance ATRs on the Asite platform.
- Address cost, invoice, or allocation queries.
- Provide additional administration support when needed.
?? Requirements:
- GCSEs in core subjects including Maths at grade C or equivalent.
- Experience with large databases and collating significant amounts of data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, numeracy, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience supporting a commercial/finance team is advantageous but not essential.
