As a Cook, you will play a vital role in operating the caf kitchen and ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality food to customers. Be the caf expert on safe food delivery in the absence of the Head Cook. Manage daily priorities, ensuring day-to-day routines are carried out and recorded appropriately. Plan the daily preparation of fresh food items for service, guiding and maximising the time of the casual staff. Ensure the full menu is available at all times, while being mindful of wastage. Guide customers in their choices regarding allergens and dietary requirements. Requirements: Previous cooking experience. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practises. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to effectively guide and train casual staff.
