To contribute to the delivery of an effective Children's Social Care Service as part of a Departmental team continuously improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
This includes contributing to care packages, recognising serious risk, promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people to make informed decisions.
Liverpool Safeguarding Service requires 1 family support worker to work 5 days per week to support with the delivery of interventions and direct work with children, young people and their families.
£18 per hourly rate
Essential
NVQ Level 3 in child care and education, NND, Health and Social Care qualification.
We are looking for experienced and passionate Qualified Social Workers to join a Child Protection & Court team.
In this role you will discharge the authority's responsibilities under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation with respect to children in need, particularly those in need of protection and those looked after by the authority.
