Providing administrative support to the sales and service departments. Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as required. What we're looking for: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably as a receptionist or in a similar position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. A positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to go the extra mile to meet customer needs. Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask. Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including MS Office Suite. Familiarity with the automotive industry is a plus, but not required. This role has a starting salary of £22,599 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. This role is a 24-month fixed term apprenticeship opportunity. It is an important role as blue badges benefit disabled people in their everyday lives. This role is an apprenticeship and Surrey County Council will support the successful applicant to complete a course of study in administration to achieve a nationally recognised qualification. Please note: This apprenticeship is only available for those who will not be enrolled in another government funded programme as of 1st September 2024 and do not possess a qualification at a higher or the same level as this one in the same subject. About your Apprenticeship We want this apprenticeship to be an opportunity for you to gain experience across a wide range of duties putting you in the best position to succeed in your apprenticeship qualification and take the first steps on your career journey! In this role, you will undertake a course of study and develop a range of skills within the requirement of the service to achieve a nationally recognised Apprenticeship qualification NVQ level 3 in Business Administration. You'll first go through an induction period allowing you to get used to the office and the team. The learning side of your apprenticeship will be delivered by Surrey Adult Learning. As you progress through your course, you'll have 2 half days a week of time to study. There may be some face to face workshops and meetings with other apprentices. As your qualification comes to an end and you begin to turn your eye to the future, we have a fantastic support programme in place that will put you in the best position to take the next step on your exciting career journey.
