We are currently seeing a caretaker to support a secondary school in Warrington with security of the premises.
The post holder will also carry out general caretaking duties during their working hours and will cover all sites within the school.
Responsibilities will include maintance of the school grounds after school hours and ensuring the general repairs and security is carried out across the school.
We are seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join an established school site team, reporting to the Premises Manager.
This role is essential in maintaining the security and functionality of our school, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Day to Day of the Role
Maintain the security of the school, including unlocking grounds and managing alarms as per the rota.

General
The Caretaker will directly undertake internal and external upkeep and maintenance routines, reporting to the Maintenance Manager or Development Manager.
They should utilise the equipment, materials and other resources made available to them, work in collaboration with team members and contractors to ensure the highest quality of service is provided, commensurate with the requirements of any management contract, lease/s, service level agreement or otherwise.

Maintenance and Upkeep: To undertake and support the ongoing maintenance management routines of the development, aiming to ensure maintenance, upkeep and risk management tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
