To provide a homelessness prevention, housing options and bespoke service to those single clients homeless or threatened with homelessness.
To assist and guide single clients with support needs to make appropriate choices reading their housing pathways.
To ensure that single clients receive, either directly or through relevant partners, appropriate advice on their housing options that offer alternatives to the making of a homeless application.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse case load including Child in Need, Child Protection, and Child in Care cases, including involvement in Care Proceedings where necessary.

Responsibilities
Manage a case load of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Child in Care cases, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
Manage social work caseload of more complex nature and with high levels of autonomy.
Provide professional supervision of other Social Workers, supporting caseload management and promoting reflective practice and continuous professional development.
Provide expert professional and technical advice to other Social Workers, managers, colleagues, and partners.

To manage a caseload as determined by line manager
To hold responsibility for young people subject to youth justice interventions and sentences aged 10-17 on statutory Court orders or out of court diversions and to supervise these in line with National Standards, local policies and procedures and other legislation and guidance related to Children and young people.
To establish and maintain effective working relationships within multi-agency setting and share information as required by RBKC's information exchange protocol and general data protection regulations.
