We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a great team in HD1. As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processing for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of payroll services. You'll also lead a team of payroll administrators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. Supervise a team of payroll administrators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. Collaborate with clients to gather payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and address enquiries. Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all payroll processes. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as tax authorities. Department Details: The payroll bureau handles approximately 550 clients per year. The Payroll Manager will personally cover 160-180 clients. Weekly payrolls range from 2 to 100 employees, while monthly payrolls range from 2 to 200 employees. Technology: The team currently uses legacy software (Super Pay), although the transition to SagePayroll is underway. Experience with SagePayroll is desirable but not essential.
