Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive commercial value into Transport and Distribution through the delivery of organic, efficiency, and new business growth.
This role will work closely with operational and planning stakeholders within Transport, whilst forging an integral interface with internal Sales and Business Development functions.
The successful candidate will take ownership of opportunity management for Transport, ensuring sincere and appropriate responses, developing strategic and targeted revenue opportunities, and producing data to be shared with Sales and Business Development functions.
The role of Business development manager will be targeted with calling on potential new customers across the Midlands territory to increase sales of products and 'up-sell' add ons.
You will be measured against company targets on sales and gross profit for your territory and expected to achieve Key Performance Indicators.
