Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join our team.
You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with statutory and local legislation and meets all departmental key performance requirements.
To assist the Head of Building Control in the management of the Building Control Departments administrative processing, plan checking and technical site works in respect to large projects within the borough.
Class 3 Surveyor required to work on high risk buildings
Ensuring a high quality, cost effective, customer focussed service which meets the Council's statutory responsibilities and contributes to the Council's Community Plan.
We're looking for an individual who can bring their experience of building maintenance with a particular interest in historic buildings.
Would you like to work in a team leading on the maintenance of our diverse range of our let residential, holidays and commercial property in Dorset.
You'll be based out of our Estate office at Kingston Lacy with travel to our portfolio of properties in Purbeck and West Dorset, working with subject experts in historic buildings who can support you in developing skills in this area.
Contribution to a providing a planned maintenance programme
Project Management and specification of minor capital projects max £1-2m including seeking planning ( including Listed building consent) and building control consent, awarding and managing build contract.
