Interim Head of Finance This is a temporary role for approximately 2 to 3 months whilst a permanent Head of Finance is being recruited. You will work 4 days a week, 6 hours a day 10am to 4pm just outside Bowness on Windermere. The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations for an Arts Trust organisation and will act as Company Secretary. As a member of the Senior Management team, the Head of Finance plays a key role in the strategic development and will provide advice and support on financial matters as reasonably required. A thorough understanding of charity accounting practices, grants, and the management of restricted and unrestricted funds is essential. Camino Search is currently supporting a leading marketing services platform in their field as they look to have an Interim Finance Director to join the business for 3 - 6 months. The ideal candidate will hold a key leadership role in the finance team and will work closely with the executive team. A key component of this role will also be to maintain and input strong internal controls over the complete finance function, as well as overseeing the work of the wider finance team. Roles and Responsibilities: Serve as the key technical resource for the Finance team in preparing management & financial accounts. Lead the finance function by adopting best practices & supporting the wider finance function Working closely with WIP, time billing, revenue accounting and all tax processes, ensuring everything is up to date and under control Supervision of regulatory obligations - ensuring filings for VAT, PAYE and other taxes are done in a timely manner. Leading budget & forecast processes for individual projects within the creative team Looking after payroll function including payroll and pension reconciliations Production of the year-end financial statements as well as cashflow, balance sheets & P&Ls are monitored closely.
