Camino Search is currently supporting a leading marketing services platform in their field as they look to have an Interim Finance Director to join the business for 3 - 6 months.
The ideal candidate will hold a key leadership role in the finance team and will work closely with the executive team. A key component of this role will also be to maintain and input strong internal controls over the complete finance function, as well as overseeing the work of the wider finance team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key technical resource for the Finance team in preparing management & financial accounts.
- Lead the finance function by adopting best practices & supporting the wider finance function
- Working closely with WIP, time billing, revenue accounting and all tax processes, ensuring everything is up to date and under control
- Supervision of regulatory obligations - ensuring filings for VAT, PAYE and other taxes are done in a timely manner.
- Leading budget & forecast processes for individual projects within the creative team
- Looking after payroll function including payroll and pension reconciliations
- Production of the year-end financial statements as well as cashflow, balance sheets & P&Ls are monitored closely.
- Assist in improving, documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Ad hoc projects for the wider business where required -
