The Assistant Transport Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring that all transport related administrative tasks are completed and will support the Transport Scheduler with daily vehicle and resource planning, driver communications and will deputise for the Transport Scheduler in their absence.
The Assistant Transport Scheduler will work closely with the Transport Manager and the Transport Scheduler, to ensure all transport related responsibilities are completed daily.
The position will be based out of our Ashford location.
NEW POSITION: Our client is a airfreight / transport company based near Heathrow and they are seeking an EXPERIENCED transport senior / assistant manager to join their team on a 4 4 on off basis.
You will be working on opposite shift to the other assistant transport manager so will be required to liaise and provide a full handover to each other at the end of a shift.
