Transport Administrator

My client is looking for a Transport Administrator to join their team! If you have previous experience as a Transport Administrator or a similar role, and are looking to join a reputable company, then LOOK NO FURTHER!
You will be responsible for the day to day updating of the Transport Management System as well as providing admin support and booking deliveries and collections with clients. In addition the role will include various other transport related duties, as listed below.
Daily Tasks:
- Accept all orders received and input onto TMS
- Booking collections and deliveries
- Setting up and updating standard jobs
- Updating rate sheets
- Customers' platform updates
- Providing subcontractors with customs information
- Completing jobs once the deliveries are done
- Booking ferries/trains; sending orders to hauliers
- Creating GMRs and security declarations on web platforms
- Providing truck details to customers and third parties
- Assist the Operations Manager with customer administration tasks.
- Any ad hoc duties
Expectations:
- Be pro-active and communicate effectively with the Support Planners, ensuring all operational issues are escalated appropriately.
- Ensure 100% accuracy of data entry into operating systems.
- Support the whole team where required, learning roles and tasks to ensure cover can be provided for sickness and holiday and to support personal development.
