We are currently recruiting for Apprentice Orthotic Technicians to join our Newcastle Manufacturing team.
In this role you will be trained in the manufacture of hand - made medical devices, such as insoles, shoes, braces and adoptions for wheelchairs.
This is not a 'typical' manufacturing environment and you will be expected to learn several traditional craft-based techniques using hand tools, so manual dexterity is preferable.
Completed apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ qualification or demonstrable trade experience.

To carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs on numerous sites daily to single site programmed repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations.
To carry out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works 'Right First Time'

To act as course tutor /Vocational Assessor or IQA to teach a variety of occupational units on management and adult care programmes.
We are looking for a calm and patient SEMH Tutor with Key Stage 2 and Mental Health experience to support a pupil in Aylesbury to develop communication and give him the skills he needs to return to school
ASEND tuition supports SEND and SEMH pupils and continues their learning while they cannot access school or don't have a school place.
