We are seeking a dedicated Production Engineer to ensure our manufacturing processes are streamlined and cost-efficient while maintaining high-quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in electronics and/or electro-mechanical assembly environments who is passionate about lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Production Engineer
Annual Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 plus benefits package.
The Production Engineers role is to ensure the company's manufacturing processes are safe for employees to use, capable of meeting or exceeding the expected standard labour time and are designed to produce right first- time production.
Working in collaboration with the Production Management team the Production Engineer should ensure manufacturing processes are well defined and adequately resourced with appropriate work instructions, tooling, jigs and other assembly aids.

General
The individual is expected to be a reliable team player, operating as part of a small team delivering this aspect of factory output.
As part of the production team, you will be expected to undertake a variety of roles within metalwork and final assembly to support the factory requirements on a variety of products covering our essential markets within Nurse call and Custodial solutions.

Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sandblasting, or applying chemical treatments as required.

Purpose of the role
Supervise a low to medium volume, high mix metalwork production area comprising of CNC Punch, CNC Bend, Weld, Studding, Powder Coat, Laser Etch and Final Assembly.
To ensure the metalwork department produces sub-assemblies and finished products on time to specification in order to meet the Production plan.
To maintain the Production plan so that the Production Manager and others have a real' time view of the status of all jobs in the area.
