Sales Administrator Maternity Contract starting - August 2024 (minimum of 6 months to be reviewed) Location: Billericay, Essex Salary: Up to £23,795 per annum - pro rata as per contract length Full time position - Monday to Friday's - 8:30am to 5:00pm We are working with a wonderful and friendly company based in Billericay who are seeking a Sales Administrator to work in a small but busy office. Your role will be processing customer orders via telephone/email for the sales and distribution of their products produced and liaising with their parent company in Europe. Job Role: Full training will be given however you will need experience working within an office role supporting sales staffing with good admin skill set and customer service experience. Order processing using bespoke timber stock system. Answering the telephone and assisting with general enquiries. Dealing with customer enquiries/queries. Arranging deliveries throughout the UK. Person specification: The right candidate will need to be hard working and willing to learn - with an excellent solid background within Administration and used to liaising with customers of various sizes recently and communicating via phone / email in a busy working environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Flexible, adaptable and reliable. Able to work in a small team. Organised and able to work under own initiative. Proactive, able to work accurately under pressure, with a strong attention to detail. Competent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel. Proficient in use of email. Accurate keyboard skills. Knowledge of basic clerical and administrative procedures and use of office equipment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Chairman's professional and personal affairs, acting as a true right-hand person. Day to Day of the Role: Provide high-level administrative support to the Chairman, ensuring efficient management of workload. Serve as the first point of contact, screening and delegating communications appropriately. Manage three complex diary arrangements and information flow, maintaining accuracy and meeting agreed timelines. Organise and prepare for high-level meetings, including the creation of presentations and reports. Coordinate national and international travel arrangements, including liaising with the Chairman's driver. Support business and personal event planning, as well as family event coordination. Manage social media posts to maximise engagement. Mentor and collaborate with other support staff to ensure household and personal affairs are managed effectively. Liaise with managing agents for property maintenance and organise personal appointments. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate degree, preferably in business. Strong experience as an Executive Assistant at Director level or above. Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Robust social media management skills.
