Our client who are based in Reading are currently recruiting for a Reception / Admin Assistant to join their team. This role is a very busy and varied position so the successful candidate must be confident to work in a fast-paced environment. Location: Reading, fully office based Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm Salary - £24k - £26k depending on experience As the Reception / Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for: Answering & filtering calls/door entry buzzer to verify visitors. Greeting occasional customers & visitors Checking & updating customer details and sending out new customer forms, where applicable. Entering sales orders & invoices in Sage 50 Accounts Software Printing delivery notes and filing returned delivery notes Printing, emailing, and filing invoices. Matching delivery notes/collection notes to their relevant invoices Arranging courier collections via online portal Taking online payments via online platform General filing - purchase invoices/delivery notes Stocking & loading photocopier with paper Re-stocking refreshments/cleaning materials/stationery/first-aid boxes Coffee Machine - making coffee for Directors, Visitors, Managers as required. Loading/unloading dishwasher Other duties as maybe required The successful Reception / Admin Assistant will have the following related skills / experience: An excellent and confident telephone manner is essential Proven track record of working in a busy administration role. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative, quickly and calmly under pressure.
