Our client who are based in Reading are currently recruiting for a Reception / Admin Assistant to join their team. This role is a very busy and varied position so the successful candidate must be confident to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Reading, fully office based
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
- Salary - £24k - £26k depending on experience
As the Reception / Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Answering & filtering calls/door entry buzzer to verify visitors.
- Greeting occasional customers & visitors
- Checking & updating customer details and sending out new customer forms, where applicable.
- Entering sales orders & invoices in Sage 50 Accounts Software
- Printing delivery notes and filing returned delivery notes
- Printing, emailing, and filing invoices.
- Matching delivery notes/collection notes to their relevant invoices
- Arranging courier collections via online portal
- Taking online payments via online platform
- General filing - purchase invoices/delivery notes
- Stocking & loading photocopier with paper
- Re-stocking refreshments/cleaning materials/stationery/first-aid boxes
- Coffee Machine - making coffee for Directors, Visitors, Managers as required.
- Loading/unloading dishwasher
- Other duties as maybe required
The successful Reception / Admin Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:
- An excellent and confident telephone manner is essential
- Proven track record of working in a busy administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
- Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative, quickly and calmly under pressure.
