Factory Manager Location: South West Job Type: Full-time Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience benefits package We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a background in facade, curtain walling, windows, and doors manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of software systems such as LogiKal and familiarity with system houses, with SMARTs knowledge being an advantage. This role requires a motivated leader with excellent people management skills, adept at implementing procedures and systems to enhance manufacturing processes. Day to Day of the role: Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring a safe working environment. Develop and improve systems, processes, and equipment to maintain quality production. Motivate and direct production teams to meet customer deadlines and maintain quality. Manage workflow, product specifications, drawings, and oversee employee work for productivity. Organize training for factory personnel and maintain records and documentation. Manage factory employees, working hours, and overtime to meet project programs. Encourage employee skill and ability development. Address inconsistencies and challenges to drive improvement. Assure quality to system parameters/requirements. Undertake operational duties as required, including covering staff absences and resource gaps. Coordinate the servicing and inspections of all factory equipment. Ensure material and consumable stocks are available for production. Required Skills & Qualifications: Knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act. Experience with LogiKal and V6 Software Systems. Proficiency in computer systems/software and standard office applications. Previous experience in a Production/Manufacturing Manager or Supervisor role. Experience with aluminium CW, windows, and door products (SMARTS or equivalent). High-level personnel management skills. Competence in digital data recording and project reporting on KPIs. Strong communication, organization, and team motivation and support skills.
