This role will be based at the office in Hatfield with the possibility of hybrid working later down the line.
This role will involve handling various administrative tasks, including answering incoming calls, updating the system, and managing queries as needed.
The primary responsibility will be overseeing the bookkeeping for their extensive property portfolio, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

As a Purchase Ledger Accounts Administrator, you will be an integral part of a small accounts team, handling approximately 250 invoices per week using cloud-based construction-specific software alongside Sage50 Accounts.
Your key duties will include:.
General
Checking and entering all purchase orders and invoices into the company's costing and accounting systems.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for accounting for an area of the group's accounts, analysing and explaining selected division results, and preparing reports.
The Assistant Accountant will post all the necessary journals to complete the month-end and will complete and review all the balance reconciliations in their area of responsibility.
The management accounts will support the year-end audit, provide any supporting information requested and answer any questions.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Accounting: Assist in the management and reconciliation of stock-related accounts data.
Excel Management: Handle large volumes of Excel spreadsheets, utilizing advanced functions such as SUMIFs and VLOOKUPs to ensure accurate data matching and reconciliation.
