Key Role Responsibilities Support the Operations Director with the operational direction and priorities of the business, recommending and driving solutions in support of agreed business objectives. Liaise across business departments to offer operational support, particularly with Customer Service and Logistics. Project management with involvement in timelines and budgets, providing ongoing and clear communication surrounding project progress. Identify operational inefficiencies and develop improvement initiatives. Work with the Product Development Department to test technical platform updates and compile feedback (internal/external) into actionable insights for improvement for both Operations team and Product Development. Work with operation functions to ensure product or service quality meets standards. Identify areas for continuous improvement in quality processes across the Operations functions. Liaise with departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Produce operational performance reports as required and identify trends and areas for improvement. Communicate with key stakeholders in the business and collaborate with departments on cross-functional initiatives. Assist in creating crisis response plans (Systems, Backups, Business Continuity). Liaise with developers on new systems upgrades and back end changes and managing the impact of platform releases on our customers. Identify training needs within the operations team, particularly on systems / back end updates and workarounds. Providing technical support to users (internal and external) who encounter difficulties with our platform. Requirements Degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline would be an advantage. Demonstrable experience working in Operations Management. Excellent IT skills with strong technical understanding of Google Workspace and experience in managing and optimising the Google ecosystem. Ability to project manage effectively and meet deadlines. Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach to developing solutions. Attention to detail with excellent written, verbal and problem solving skills. A process improvement mindset and a critical thinker with an aptitude to digest large amounts of information and devise appropriate solutions. Solid time management skills with the ability to prioritise. A rational thinker under pressure. Responsibilities : Manage and evaluate machine and labour resources to ensure continuous productivity and minimal downtime Planning and organising production schedules Distribute manpower effectively Ensure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spend Escalate production issues or problems to the Operations Manager as required.
