Description
- Lead the strategy and execution of finance operations and changes within the organisation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial and operational performance.
- Provide expert advice on financial management and change strategies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial processes and systems.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance Operations and Change should have:
- A professional accountancy qualification - eg CIMA, ACCA, ICAS, etc
- Prior experience working within Asset Management is a must
- Proven experience in financial management and change strategy
- Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
This role will be based in Edinburgh and will have 3 days a week in the office so candidates must be available to do this
