Acting as a lead officer in liaising with clients and Council solicitors in reviews and when defending County Court Actions.
To investigate, resolve and respond to formal and information senior level MP/member enquiries and complaints, including from the Ombudsman, regarding the services delivered by Housing Options service within statutory and corporate deadlines and foster a positive relationship with members in relation to their casework.
To provide an efficient and responsive casework review service, ensuring that all reviews and county court appeals are dealt with in accordance with legislation, Council policy, and statutory deadlines.
To be responsible holding and securing premises keys for purpose of the opening and closing of centres; ensuring that effective locking up and opening procedures are followed and provide access to internal areas as appropriate i.e.

To ensure Adult Learning Lewisham and designated community premises are secure, clean, warm.
To co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the Boroughs 24 hour CCTV system in accordance with the scheme's code of practice, operational procedures and statutory regulations.
This includes the management and running of the Lewisham Homes CCTV system.

To work under the direction of the Safer Communities Operation Manager in the Safer Communities Service to ensure the effective and efficient running of the licensing service and discharge the Council's statutory duties in respect of a range of licensing functions and to serve the Council, its Committee Members and Officers.
(1) have excellent knowledge of Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005 and other licensing legislation related to the post.
The service is responsible for administering and enforcing a variety of licensing registrations and permit regimes, including those related to alcohol, entertainment and late night refreshments; gambling premises and lotteries; animal establishments, scrap metal and marriages.
Be responsible for data input and maintenance of records as necessary, including records of PCNs, parents/carers not ready/home, staff appointments etc.
To provide high quality operational administrative support for Passenger Services.
Support the maintenance of databases for Passenger Services, used for scheduling, time management, and annual leave (Vision Time database), preparing and collating reports for managers as required.
Management of the allocation and tenancy management function for households in housing need placed in temporary accommodation.
This includes managing allocation of accommodation, housing management of temporary accommodation, move on and resettlement functions on behalf of the Housing Needs Service.
General
To act as an ambassador for the Council's policies relating to the function of temporary accommodation allocation and tenancy management, providing advice relating to relevant senior managers, Executive Directors and members as required.
