In this role, you will plan, design, and develop both local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across our organization.
You will also handle the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.
We are seeking a Network Engineer to ensure effective and resilient support for our clients Critical Systems, both during and outside office hours, without disrupting day-to-day IT tasks (BAU) and digital project workloads.

General
As a member of the Trust's infrastructure team, the Networks Engineer will serve as a senior authority on the network (WAN and LAN), reporting to the Delivery Assurance Officer.
I am working with a UK leading Estate Agency to find a Network Engineer to join their London office on a permanent basis.
Your role will be varied but you can expect to be responsible for the stability of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services, alongside undertaking incident resolution, problem management, and providing advanced technical input for projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for deploying, administering, maintaining, and supporting global networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) and security-related hardware and software, utilizing cutting-edge technology.
The successful candidate will integrate the latest technology and ensure optimal network security configurations and best practices are implemented and enforced.
Additionally, they will provide BAU support for all aspects of Network & Security, collaborating closely with the wider IT Team.
As the Senior Network & Security Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the networking technology fabric that underpins the company's IT infrastructure (including on-premises, and cloud environments), its unified communications and Cyber Security.
You will be expected to work with relevant telecoms providers and other suppliers and service providers, acting as lead on the design, maintenance, security, and proactive monitoring of the organisations' network topology.
In addition, you will manage capacity and availability of network services, optimise quality of service, and ensure value for money.
