This position is for a Materials Science Engineer to start asap in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and analysing materials in an industrial/manufacturing setting. Client Details Our client is a prominent figure in the manufacturing industry and has a UK Head Office in Huddersfield. Description Develop new materials to meet product specifications Conduct tests to evaluate material performance Analyse data from material testing Collaborate with the Engineering team to integrate new materials into product design Document and present findings to stakeholders Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards Maintain laboratory equipment Continually stay updated with advancements in material science Profile A successful Materials Science Engineer should have: A degree in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field Proficiency in laboratory testing and data analysis Strong understanding of material properties and their impact on product performance Ability to work collaboratively with a team Excellent communication skills for presenting findings Commitment to maintaining safety and industry standards Job Offer Hourly rate c£17- £25.00. 12 month minimum term with the potential of a permanent position.
