This position is for a Materials Science Engineer to start asap in Huddersfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and analysing materials in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

Description

  • Develop new materials to meet product specifications
  • Conduct tests to evaluate material performance
  • Analyse data from material testing
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to integrate new materials into product design
  • Document and present findings to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with industry and safety standards
  • Maintain laboratory equipment
  • Continually stay updated with advancements in material science

Profile

A successful Materials Science Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Proficiency in laboratory testing and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of material properties and their impact on product performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting findings
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and industry standards

Job Offer
