Lorien are working with a public sector organisation that specialise in savings and investments and they are currently looking for a Market and Competitor analyst to work alongside the head of the department and key stakeholders across the business on a number of activities including research, interpretation and analysis, reporting, continuous improvement and administrative tasks. Working alongside the Head of the department, responsibilities would include: Conduct research on market research and benchmarking against current offerings by the organisation Monitor the evolving digital landscape with the financial sector Researching, evaluating and interpreting market intelligence data to influence strategic decision made Produce scheduled reports that are tailored to specification required Provide clear concise executive summaries Work with stakeholders to continiously improve reporting outputs Updating database with latest economic, pricing and financial data Experience: Strong analytical skills - exposure to data mining, gathering and analysing Experience of evaluating data and identifying trends Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Tableau Report writing skills Strong communication skills Presentation skills The salary for this role is paying up to £28,600 with a 27% pension, bonus, 25 days annual leave and other benefits. The role is based on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week based in the offices in Westminster area.
